We recommend our customers to acquire travel insurance upon your trip/tour. Please, make sure you have coverage for any activities you have scheduled. Your insurance policy should cover you and your party against the cost of assistance (such accident or illness), loss of belongings, money, and other expenses. If you decide not to purchase proper travel insurance, neither Hopper Journeys nor our suppliers will be responsible for any damages, no matter how they occur, for which insurance coverage would have otherwise been available. Hopper Journeys is not responsible or obligated to compensate you in events beyond our control that interfere with the performance of our responsibilities to you. These events refer to any occurrence outside of our control such strikes, serious health risks (such disease outbreaks), natural disasters like floods and earthquakes, as well as weather conditions that make a destination unsafe to visit. Although we do not specialise in providing tours for people with disabilities, we will make every effort to meet your needs. Before we confirm your booking, please let us know in full about any health issues or disabilities you or any member of your group may have so that we can try to advise you on the suitability of your chosen tour arrangements. You must act in an appropriate and orderly manner and refrain from interfering with the enjoyment of others. Hopper Journeys reserves the right to cancel your booking immediately and without further obligation to you if, in the opinion of our staff or any other person in authority, your behaviour is causing distress, danger or annoyance to any other customers, or damage to property. If the safety and health of an individual is in danger, any Hopper Journeys' representative (for example a guide) has the right to refuse the individual's participation on the tour. The individual (customer) involved will not have the right to ask for a refund and must accept this decision made by our staff without protest since it is in their best interests and for their safety. Reservations for Machu Picchu: These reservations are subject to the supply of tickets for train or entrances to Machu Picchu. The final schedule for a Machu Picchu tour reservation, whether it be for a full day, or a package with other tours, won't be known until Hopper Journeys is successful in reserving the necessary tickets. The supply of tickets is outside the control of Hopper Journeys. We arrange the train and Machu Picchu entrance that are feasible in light of the availability of tickets and the allocated ticket budget, both of which are factored into the tour's final cost. In accordance with the tour booked, we will try our best to accommodate you in the most appropriate train service and Machu Picchu admittance timetable. Changes to reservations are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Changes made withing 30 days prior to the start of the trip may not be possible due to our provider's policies.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Any cancellations must be made via e-mail (info@hopperjourneys.com). Refunds, and cancellations can only be accepted/applied in accordance with the following conditions: Cancellations made 90 days or more in advance of the tour's date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made within 90 and 7 days prior to the date of tour departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 7 days will not receive a refund. Hopper Journeys is not responsible for any fees that a refund process implies such currency exchanges or banks/third party transfers fees. Refunds does not include the costs of tickets acquired by us that are necessary for the fulfilment of our services (such train tickets or entrances fees).
